Jane Seslar is the founding developer of our highlight services. Jane comes with 4 years of Division 1 Volleyball experience as a setter and 3 years of Division 1 Beach Volleyball experience from the University of California, Davis. She is a San Francisco native who now coaches indoor volleyball at Absolute Volleyball Club and Redwood High School, Marin County. Jane was also an assistant coach in 2023 for Stanford University where they made it to the Elite 8. In her time at Stanford she contributed to the Cardinal largely with scouting opponents and creating shorter film clips for the team to watch in Scout. Seslar was also involved in assisting background recruiting operations and everyday practice/game coaching.

Lumen Highlights came to be through the goal of helping youth players produce curated film that effectively showcases the technique, decision making and range that college coaches are looking for. Highlight tapes often serve as the first impression for coaches and are essential in the recruiting process. Highlights are frequently too long or the wrong clips are chosen that can push a coach to click away instead of continue playing.
